Gabriele and Anna won their third World Champion title in succession, putting themselves into the league of legends, becoming one of only three couples that has done so in the 60 years of WDSF history.

They finished with the dance of honour some twelve hours later: as World Champions for a third consecutive time, as one of only three couples that achieved such feat in over 50 years of DanceSport history ... And as an engaged couple, with Gabriele having asked for Anna's hand in marriage in front of a capacity crowd at the championship venue as well as worldwide television.
